Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft and chewy; and go well with a hot cup of coffee. These cookies will make you happy for sure.

I have not been blogging at all this year, if there is anyone who misses posts on this blog, do let me know so that it motivates me to post more 😄

• Flour – 2 cups
• Baking Soda – 1/2 tsp
• Butter – 1 cup
• Granulated Sugar – 1/2 cup
• Brown Sugar – 1 cup
• Salt – pinch
• Vanilla Essence – 1 tbsp
• Eggs – 2
• Chocolate Chips – 1 cup

• Preheat oven to 200 degrees
• In a small bowl, sift together the flour and baking soda; set aside
• In another bowl, combine the butter with both sugars; till light and fluffy
• Reduce speed to low; add the salt, vanilla, and eggs. Beat for about 1 minute
• Add flour mixture; mix until just combined
• Stir in the chocolate chips
• Drop heaping tablespoon-size balls of dough about 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper
• Bake until cookies are golden around the edges, but still soft in the center, 8 to 10 minutes
• Remove from oven, and let cool on baking sheet before storing.

Enjoy. 😄

Will post again soon 😄
