Hot Dog

Standard

I am not really a lover of the Original Hot Dog; but that definitely doesn’t mean that I can’t eat one.  There can be so many variations of a  hot dog. You can make it with veggies, egg, meat, chicken or fish. So in this post I wont give you a detailed recipe, but just some ideas for variations.

Follow these 5 steps:

Step 1:

Get some hot dog buns

Step 2:

Choose your filling

Vegetarian:

  • Sautéed Onions with Baked Beans and Corn
  • Spinach and Corn topped with Cheese
  • Mashed Potatoes and Paneer with Mixed Herbs
  • Tomato, Cucumber, Onion and Lettuce
  • Olives, Jalapeños, Onions and Cheese

Eggs:

  • Butter Scrambled Eggs
  • Masala Omelette
  • Masala Burji (This is basically the indian style scrambled eggs)
  • Mashed Egg with Cream, Mayonnaise and Mustard Powder

Non-Vegetarian:

  • Minced Mutton
  • Butter Chicken
  • Curried Chicken; It could be south indian in style or mexican
  • Salami and Onions

Step 3:

  • Season it well with salt, pepper, chilli flakes, mixed herbs, garlic powder, or any other seasoning that you like

Step 4:

  • Sauce it up! You can use tomato sauce, chilli sauce, BBQ sauce, red onion sauce, mustard sauce, mayonnaise, piri piri sauce, HP sauce or any other sauce in your cupboard.

Step 5:

  • Eat it
