Orange Brownies

Ingredients:

For brownies:
• Flour – 1 1/2 cup
• Granulated sugar – 1 1/2 cups
• Salt – pinch
• Butter – 220 gm
• Eggs – 4
• Pure orange extract – 2 tsp
• Grated orange zest – 1 tsp
• Orange juice – 1/2 cup
• Orange colour – 1/4 tsp

For glaze:
• Icing sugar – 1 cup
• Orange juice – 2 tbsp
• Grated orange zest – 1 tsp

Method:

For brownies:
• Preheat oven to 200C and grease a mould.
• Stir together flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl
• Combine butter, eggs, extract, juice and zest to the dry mixture with a electric mixer for about 5 minutes
• Add the orange colour to it now and beat for another one minute
• Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until light golden brown

For glaze:
• Mix all ingredients together and stir until smooth. Pour glaze over cake

I added some confetti sprinkles to the cake just to add more colour and dusted the brownies with icing sugar.
