  1. hey Naina. firstly, why havent you posted for so long? Missing your updates real bad. You have been a catalyst at inspiring me to bake almost every week.

secondly, I too experimented with Bannoffee pie but faced 2 major issues initially: 1. the whole thing would start to part off once even 1 slice was taken out. 2. the caramel toffee wouldnt settle too well. I figured out a solution to not have my caramel too runny but the whole thing still seems too fragile post 1 slice has been cut off. How do you manage?

also, my elders who had it felt that its way too sweet. Did you get a similar response? though i personally love it.

lemme know. Btw- jus incase u remember, I’m the same priyanka from college.

    • Hey Priyanka, yes ofcourse I remember you and I do keep checking updates from FB too. :)thanks for following my blog I guess j needed this message to start posting regularly.

Ok about the pie. 1. About the sweetness. See only one layer the toffee layer has all the sweet. Rest of the layers don’t so I make my toffee layer a little thin and add bananas under and above the layer. So when you take a bite of the whole thing the sweetness will be just fine. So try keeping the layer a little thin next time. 2. Also if the layer Is thin and the biscuit layer is well buttered and set. You will not have any problem serving it as well. Which condensed milk did you use, did you let it boil for full two hours ?

Send me pictures of your dishes too. 🙂
